As an export based economy with weak consumption - China literally relies the most on globalization out of all major economies... irrevocable economic collapse would exactly be what happens to China. The opposite of what you say is true... hence why others are for decoupling and only China is screaming not to de-couple

It's part of China's "dual circulation", "made in China 2025", and "self-reliance" strategy that all focus on increasing others dependence on China - while reducing their own dependence on the world. Decoupling punches a hole in this goal and exactly why they are screaming for the major economies not to diversify or de-risk....even though they themselves have been doing it for years.
