The market(giant institutional investors and fund managers) is hoping rate hikes are coming at the end of the year because 1. to keep their clients happy. and 2. because they have been conditioned for the last 16 years to think low interest rates are the norm. Knock it off.... you're either lying, letting your desires and bias influence your judgement, or all of the above.

  2. This guy talks about "reverting back to the mean" as an argument for rates coming down, my question is - how far are you looking back? Because if you go back past 16 years - rates were historically and insanely low. Rates going back up like this may be them finally "reverting back to the mean" if you look back far enough.
