@thetangieman3426 Lol like where. Recessions have a specifically defined, and the numbers simply haven't reflected that. If 2+2 is 4, you can't say 2+1 is 4 just because "it's been that way for months. It says so everywhere".

@davidolusola1248 Well for 1 - that was last year. You said we've been "in recession for months.". In addition - if you call that a recession then that was the weakest recession ever and I'll take it. It was barely negative the second quarter and it was because of inventory carryover. So it may have just barely been a recession on paper, but a lot of economists don't actually consider it a recession. As of now - the economy is actually doing well and has held up exceptionally well in the face of all of these interest rate hikes.

Right and everybody was saying the first half would be really tough and the market would bottom/re-test October lows. Basically: "Nobody knows anything."
