  1. I love how he mentioned that China is actively and significantly decouple from the US. In fact, China started decoupling way before there was any hint of this in the West under its "dual circulation" policy, which dates any talk of decoupling from outside. So when you hear all this rhetoric from Chinese diplomats against "decoupling" - its utter nonsense and banks on the fact that 99.9% won't ever look at Chinese economic/geopolitical policy. P.S. - I'm ready for you WuMao/bots/nationalists. Boohoo and cry more

  3.  @tonyxu7690  Propping up domestic brands and industry is to insulate the economic dependence on the outside world and especially western countries. The purpose of this aspect very similar to Trump's America first and a broad 10% tariff... which could also be called decoupling from the outside world. Its all protectionism - the same thing the CCP and the diplomats are going around claiming to be against. In case you haven't noticed - its not just the US putting tariffs on China: EU, India, Turkey, Brazil, Indonesia (and more) have all done the same. Some are on EV's and some are on steel.. these are both developed and developing countries btw. Its not just the big bad US putting up tariffs on China's over subsidization of industries.
