Comments by "Vale Tudo" (@valetudo1569) on "‘Blatant economic coercion’: China slams Biden’s order limiting U.S. overseas tech investment" video.
They use the term "economic coercion" because its what everybody says about them. They seemingly don't quite understand what it means because they don't understand how use the term correctly. Look, if you're positioning yourself as a competitor and military threat to a country - they would have to be crazy to keep supplying you with the technology you would use to potentially hurt them or their national security interests with. China would absolutely not be selling the US any technology they feel would hurt their interest or their national security. However China does not really have any high-end technology that the US buys from them, hence why they resort to export banning things like rare metals and whatnot in retaliation. So here is the question - on one hand China and it's nationalists boast as being so strong, self-reliant, technologically independent, and superior to the US - yet they get so mad then when the US stops giving them technology and investment. So which one is it? You can't be both so strong and brittle at the same time. You either still heavily rely on the US quite a bit for your goals or so strong that you deal with anything they throw your way.

US, S. Korea, and Japan all seem to have enjoyed a great relationship for a very long time. Infact, US has a much better relationship with most of Asian than China does. So ask yourself who is the common denominator in these bad relationships. More importantly, ask yourself which man is the common denominator in these bad relationships.

@ssuwandi3240 You obviously don't understand US politics. And ask yourself why that ban on Australian barley was put on in the first place. You don't get credit for doing something wrong, for years, and then stopping it. The barley, coal, and ore bans should've never been on the first place. The wine ban is still in place...all from the government who constantly complains about others "weaponizing trade". The hypocrisy...

@ssuwandi3240 ssuwani you're always on here talking pro china nonsense. China was brought into the WTO by the US/West and has never obeyed the rules...get out. You're also talking some nonsense about AU and the yuan. China was mad at AU because they openly said there should be an investigation into Covid. Unacceptable use of weaponizing trade. And you're right - the virus started in the Wuhan virology lab was literally studying corona viruses in bats and it's transmissibility to humans

YoDaddi That would have been a great insult in the 5th grade.

@Fizzing-Amperage I've heard it myself from people, I've read it in Xinhua, global times, etc... it's all over the propaganda. So don't tell me its all in my imagination. Also your line "we look dim witty to you" is also a message constantly said in the propaganda. This narrative that the US/West has looked down on China and Chinese people, and now China is strong. The US never looked down on China - Chinese people have been respected in the US because of their dedication to education, strong work ethic, and financial prowess. All of that nonsense is a brainwashing tool used by the government to seed resentment to the west - and it works.
