  2. Its not harmless, there is data now to show that the algorithym is showing and hiding things that are in Beijing's interest at much higher rates than other social media apps. US intel also just recently stated ccp accounts used it to try and influence 2022 midterms. We cannot give an adversarial power an open window to influence US policy and public opinion.
