  1. Elephants are scary as hell. You don't realize how they can crush you on a whim until you see them in person. I went to Thailand, and you can just feel and hear the weight of them as the walk around. They could mistep and crush every bone in your leg... and some just have attitude problems and have a tendency to get violent for no reason - especially the males. Extremely fascinating but potentially dangerous animals, depending on their personalities and histories.
