1) A bully picks a fight with a smaller kid. 2) The smaller kid's friends gang up on the bully. 3) The bully says "This isn't fair, I'm the victim!". ...sorry Russia but we've all seen this story before.

@nowarwithrussiaandchina4667 Firstly, you’re level of propaganda is way above par. I want to give you public credit for that. You’re trying so hard to paint Ukraine as a US puppet. We all see it. In reality, you attacked Ukraine and Ukraine is fighting to defend their homeland…just like YOU would do. How d’ya feel about those facts?

@stayniftyGuyFaceMannPersonDude Russia, the world’s “problem child”.

As a fellow American, I must correct some of your assumptions. America has NOT given more money to Ukraine than Europe combined via the EU plus individual European countries. In addition, several European countries (specifically the Baltic states) have given a higher percentage of their annual GDP than the US has to Ukraine. Remember that our military budget is 3% of our GDP and we have given ~3% of our annual military budget to Ukraine. However, what is more important here is what happens to the large majority of the $ the we "give" to Ukraine. Approximately 80% (according to what I can find on line) will go to American arms companies to produce newer and more updated weapons to replace the old stocks of weapons that we give Ukraine at "replacement value", saving us the cost of weapons disposal (although we would be paying for the shipment of the old weapons). What "replacement value" means is that, for example, every ATACM built in the 1990's that we give Ukraine, the "replacement value" is the cost of the NEW ATACM that will go into American stockpiles. Hope this helps clarify what we are doing as Americans to defend democracy against Putin, Khomeini, and Kim Jung Un. @MrElliotc02

@ikponmwosaosuyi-egharevba140 Ukraine is a sovereign country. Ukraine chose the West over Russia b/c it's a better deal for them. Either offer better deals or get over it.
14
@evgeniya7853 Despite what you would like us to think, truth is not primitive.
9
@Chuck_Hooks My concern is that Trump will pull us out of NATO and then tell Putin to “take what you want”.
8
@gdiwolverinemale4th It's clear that you are trying so hard. Do you truly support Putin or are you just a paid troll? If you truly support Putin, please tell us why.
7
@theredscourge What exactly did Zelensky say that started the argument? Let’s see some quotes…b/c the rest of us aren’t hearing what you seem to be hearing.
5
I like the way you think!
4
@Олег-ж3с3т Only if Russia honors the law.
3
@Олег-ж3с3т 1) Russia has NOT followed the law. 2) I don't know who blew up Nordic Stream. 3) The tanker is being operated by Russia to transport their oil as part of their shadow fleet...and contains Russian espionage equipment. Any other questions?
3
@michaelotieno6524 That is some troll logic and a weak attempt at a Jedi mind trick. You forgot, Ukraine has zero incentive to harm their allies. Do better or you may end up on the frontlines!
3
@toto-yf8tc He was referring to the ambush part, not the preplanning part. Keep up!
3
@TheKaiser12345 Hmm. I see it differently. Biden has America’s interest first. Trump has Trump’s interest first.
3
Moldova is first to fall to Russia. @TheThirstyOtter
3
@FirstMetalHamster Clearly stated. Thank you!
2
@ Terms of the deal were changed compared to prior offers.
2
@ Compare the 1st and 2nd versions of the “mineral deal”. The two contracts are very different.
2
@ryanweible9090 Agreed. Watch Trump in that Helsinki meeting with Putin. Trump was nervous and scared.
2
@NineInchTyrone What does that even mean?
2
@nowarwithrussiaandchina4667 Once again, you’re above par. Kudos. One question for you. Ukraine is a sovereign country. They chose the West. They didn’t choose Russia’s offer. How do ya feel about that?
2
@ I’m not ignoring anything. 1) We don’t know who blew up NordStream, could’ve been the Ukrainians. Germany is now purchasing non-Russian oil and gas. 2) The only Ukraine grain that I’ve seen dumped was done by Polish farmers on the border. 3) Fico and Orban are both Putin lap dogs. They both had 3 years to secure or energy sources, at the same price, but chose to remain dependent on Russian oil and gas, unlike the rest of the EU. And why should Ukraine allow Russian goods through their territory just so Russia can make more money to destroy Ukraine. That’s just stupid. Lastly, you want to talk about morality? What about Russia hitting a Kyiv children’s hospital with not one but TWO targeted missiles. What about the mass graves of civilians in Bucha? Most of them with their hands tied and a single hole in their head? How do those things make you feel?
1
Too late. Putin already started that. @adriancarty612
1
Thank you for seeing what all this mess is heading towards if the West cowers to Putin and Trump wins the US elections in November 2024. @col0342
1
Because they are opposed to dictatorships like Putin, Kim Jung Un, and Khomeini...you know, the only countries supporting Russia in this war. You can most likely in Xi / China in that list too. Why are you against personal freedom and democracy? @amraceway
1
Unless you're forced to defend yourself. @amraceway
1
Good to know that you support dictators instead of freedom and democracy. People like you cannot understand until it happens to you. People like me are working so that doesn't happen to you or me. That's the difference between you and me. @amraceway
1
@yellowtunes2756 This is a new shift when a Russian troll goes from saying…Russia will nuke us all!…to what are you going to do when a Muslim extremist nukes you with one of the old Russian nukes. Implying…you’re thinking and talking about Russia’s imminent collapse. The paradigm shift speaks volumes.
1
Ukraine will not ask for soldiers. Nice scare tactic but it falls flat. The only way the us Westerners would ever have "boots on the ground" is if we let Putin win in Ukraine and Putin then attacks a NATO country, triggering article 5. @goenzoy712
1
Another attempt at freshman psychology. Germany was the aggressor the last two times. Now Russia is the aggressor and Germany is part of an alliance of democracies. Good try but you're going to have to do better. @LaluBhaiya1233
1
Is this Medvedev? Your points are trash. Look, the total American defense budget is 3-4% of the national GDP. On top of that, we/ve only spend about 3-4% of our annual defense budget on Ukraine. The Treasury is fighting moderate inflation but is othwerise fine (and American inflation is way lower than Russian inflation under Putin). There's plenty of dollars to pay American workers to produce American weapons that will replete American defense stockpiles while we give Ukraine our old weapons that we were going to have to pay for their safe disposal anyway. @danielhutchinson6604

@pietbiertappertje4529 …every troll makes a vague accusation with no supporting evidence.
1
@gdiwolverinemale4th They will encourage their government to take stronger action against Russia's...and donate money to pro-Ukrainian causes. How does that make you feel?
1
@Dog.soldier1950 Well, Trump sure as hell can’t stop it now.
1
@tomasescalante2987 You are correct. They are referring to the contract terms. Some contracts are good and some aren’t.
1
@ Completely agree with you.
1
@ Well phrased. Thank you.
1
@EverydayRoadster The key difference: America failed to defend Ukraine but Russia attacked Ukraine. There is a big difference between those two things.
1
@ Thank you. Well written too.

Republican Senator Lankford of Oklahoma did introduce the most stringent anti-immigration bill that America has ever seen. However, former President Trump told the Republican congressmen and women to NOT vote for border security as Trump did not want Biden to get credit for solving the border crisis as Trump wants to use the southern border as an election strategy. @teblack2
1
The majority of us Americans DO want to support Ukraine! However, the MAGA Republicans take all of their orders from former President Trump...and Trump told them to quash any support for Ukraine. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson only has to call for a yes/no vote for Ukraine support and it will pass with a super majority. However, since Mike Johnson does everything Trump tells him to do (ie no support for Ukraine), Mr. Johnson has refused to let the House of Representatives vote on this issue. Our government is being held hostage on the Ukraine issue by one person (Mike Johnson) because Trump told him to do so. @mike_oe

As an American, I think your synopsis is pretty spot on. Thanks! @JABN97
1
Very good big picture assessment. Thanks! @ebrim5013
1
I am more concerned with reality than either optimism or cynicism. However, my main point is that we are not "giving" a large amount of money nor military equipment to Ukraine as many of the MAGA politicians like to claim. Rather, we are providing for Ukraine in a way that symbiotically helps America as well. @ettoreatalan8303

Putin's war is a good test for NATO as it has not been challenged like this to date. Fortunately, NATO seems to be working out it's kinks and will be much much more ready for Putin if he extends his military into a NATO country. @TheThirstyOtter
1
@emanuele8226 Agreed. Whether on the schoolyard or on the global stage, bullies can only be effectively handled one way to stop the bullying.
1
@nowarwithrussiaandchina4667 We’ll, Russia is free to use NK’s satellite navigation systems. Stop being such a crybaby. Putin started this war and it’s his fault. How do you sleep at night defending him?
1
@johnadam2885 Boo!
1
Just control and monitor all Russian shipping activity through the choke points of the Baltic Sea. This includes stop and search. That amount of expenditure and manpower shouldn't divert much at all away from Ukraine.
1
@leftmodernist5210 Typical Russian troll comment. All accusation yet no facts to back it up. You should be on the frontline, you'd be of more use there.
1
@michaelotieno6524 See my other reply to your exact same response on the other thread please.
1
@nowarwithrussiaandchina4667 Just getting to know you.
1
@gdiwolverinemale4th Still trying. Are you bot or troll?
1
I remember Putin planning to take Kyiv in three days. None of that exists now. David has held Goliath at bay for two years now with the help of Western weapons. @MuhammadRidwan-pe7ny
