Vance is the creation of conservative billionaires like Peter Thiel and a close friend of Kevin Roberts (the president of The Heritage Foundation)...a close enough friend that JD wrote the introduction to Robert's new book. We are seeing the alliance of billionaires and Qhristian extremists happen under Trump. However, Trump is only the pied-piper used to get votes from the working class. The billionaires and Qhristians will 25th Amendment Trump out of office as soon as they get the chance. ALL of this is very bad for the American middle class!

  17. The MAGA plan to cause a delay in vote certification at the county and state level only causes a delay in the election, not a change in the result of the election. I knew there had to be more to the plan. MAGA delaying certification long enough to invoke the 12th Amendment and send the decision to the Republican controlled House of Representatives in order to choose Trump (regardless of the vote totals) is the second part of the plan to steal the 2024 election. Of course, this will primarily occur in swing states and with counties voting for Harris. This overthrows the will of the American people.

  18.  @opossumlvr1023  That issue could be easily bypassed if each state turned in their total numbers for each candidate. Then, just as in the Gore-Bush election, only that specific state would need to be recounted. Same amount of work but without the Electoral College.

Given the long lines, it would likely take at least a two day federal holiday for people to vote. I'm not opposed to holiday, just saying that it would have to occur at the same time as your proposed changes.

  20.  @sandywest7664  That is not correct. The combined population is around 60 million and the US population is ~330 million. For what you said to be true, the combined population of CA and NY would have to be greater than 50% of the total US population to solely determine the president. It is important that EVERY American vote's count 1.0. Under the EC, Americans in less populated states counts more than Americans in more populated states...and that's not fair that one person's vote counts more than another's.

  30. That's not the goal. The goal is to delay vote certification at the county/state level until the evening of Dec 11th so that states cannot send in the Electoral College votes. If no candidate gets to 270 EC votes by closing time on Dec 11th, the 12th Amendment of the Consstitution can be invoked. One Dec 12th, Johnson will invoke the 12th Amendment allowing the MAGA controlled House of Reps to choose the next POTUS. All legal challenges will be heard by SCOTUS. But here's the REAL kicker...this plan is totally legal unless they can prove that the vote was intentionally not certified due to bad faith.

  44.  @Freyja123  You forgot... 1) Giving up democracy in favor of a king under Agenda 47 / Project 2025. 2) Electing a traitor after he led a failed coup in 2020. 3) Gutting organized labor laws and workers' rights laws in favor of billionaires over the working class. 4) Using the national guard and military to quash any American who speaks out against Trump. 5) Turning American women into broodmares with no control over their own bodies. 6) Eliminating the Affordable Care Act with no plan to replace it, resulting in more expensive health care. 7) Eliminating the Dept of Education with no plan to replace it, resulting in our kids having to go to Christian private schools or be home schooled...which is impossible if both parents are working to pay the bills. Trump will try to entice American workers by giving them a shiny dime while he takes a dollar from them behind their back. If anybody reading this is a middle class working American, be forewarned that Trump is going to screw you as soon as he doesn't need your vote. Trump is for the billionaires, not us.
