  3.  @mimcduffee86  For clarification, when I say power, I mean "laws for thee but not for me".  When it comes to the application of the law, I believe that we are all subject to the same law and must be held accountable. For example, rich kids get DUI's when they get caught drunk driving and can't get off the hook b/c daddy is rich and powerful. Do you feel differently about how the law in America should be applied?

Focus on how Trump tried to overthrow American democracy in 2020: 1) Slates of fake Electors in 7 swing states. 2) Pence publicly stating that Trump pressured him to recognize the fake Electors over the real Electors. 3) The recorded Raffensperger phone call where Trump tells him to "find 1,780 votes". All three of these things are federal felonies, attempts to overthrow our government, and easily provable.

  10.  @serenadevon  No. When certain products rise in price way beyond the average inflation rate, it means one of two things... 1) There is a unique supply-demand issue around that certain prodcuct, or 2) Retailers are price gouging.

But please remember that they have been duped by Trump, they just don't know it yet. If the blind wish to remain blind, leave them behind and move on.

  30. I'm an American that is a fiscal conservative. However, it is clear as day that Trump tried to rig and steal the 2020 election and will try to do so again in 2024. As a European, you make be asking "How can one third of Americans be supporting the same guy that tried to overthrow our democracy only four years ago for future President. That is a fair question. To answer, please remember two children's stories...The Pied Piper and The King's New Clothes. To Trump worshipers, he is a pied-piper who is going to fix all of their problems, real or imagined. But most of us Americans can't even hear Trump's pied-piper tune and, therefore, cannot understand Trump's appeal. To us Americans that are not caught up in Trump's tune, all we see is that the king has no clothes. I hope that explains the current phenomena in America right now. It's nuts.

  47. It's all leading to an authoritarian state. IMO, an authoritarian (non-democratic) Christian theocracy with white privilege. Nonwhites will still have a place in society as long as they know their place in society. My wife thinks I'm crazy.
