This is how Marshall Field’s was in Chicago. The Christmas windows were phenomenal. My family used to go downtown every year and shop, look at windows, eat dinner, and spend the night at a nice hotel. Not to mention, Field’s was my go-to store for back-to-school clothes. While not demolished, all stores were sold to Macy’s. They were never the same.
