Just lie in bed and face every single thought and belief, FEEL the feelings of fear, of overwhelm, of guilt, of judgment, of sadness, of anxiety, of whatever it is you’re feeling. Face it all, don’t suppress it, don’t try to force yourself to do things, don’t numb yourself with drugs (even prescribed) or alcohol or food (or any addiction), JUST FACE IT ALL. When you do, you realize that the thoughts, beliefs, and feelings can’t hurt you and that they literally mean nothing. Once you do that, all that’s left is inspiration. Inspiration is ALWAYS there, but it’s covered up by all the other stuff (by ego), and that’s why it’s so important to face it. When you do, you experience all that’s left.
