@brianticas7671 you should have wished it earlier. When Ukraine was shelling Donbas. When Minsk treaty was still possible. Honestly I think Russia will come out of it stronger than ever. In a new world without US domination

@pgpython you do realise Putin couldn't have broken Minsk as Moscow wasn't side in it. Moscow was there to ensure it really happens- and tha't what Putin was trying to do all along. Minsk treaty was bettween Ukraine and the republics, with Russia, France and Germany being warrants of that. Putin held his part while the west didn't. As usual. Budapest memorandum has never beeb ratified by any side and has zero legal power. Plus when the west violated it by sponsoring the coup in Ukraine in 2014, the memorandum lost as little sence as it still had. Why would Russia keep an agreement that nobody cares to follow? Same with the promise not to expand NATO- westen promises and even signed agreements as with Minsk, have NO POINT. You never keep them

@kazkaskazkas8689 oh really? Ok I know that to get any jot in the Baltics- and I mean any, you need a special certification on local language. A russian speaker can any time be called to special authoritiues and examined- and if his knowledge is not sufficient, therr is a fine for that like 250 euro. I don't remember similar requiements in Russia to comfirm your language level. Is it so or not? And actually in my previous comment I mean Kazakstan since you mentioned it

@mattsmith4027 Russia was busy getting on its feet all that time. If something Russia does really bad is information war, so it's absolutely ridiculous to be talking about decade of propaganda. Actually that's that the WEST is quite good at. The only thing it is still good at. Let's see how many time west betrayed our trust and did the opposite of what's promised.. if for once Putin played by your rules- the better. Enough of fair play, as you have no idea what it is.

@mattsmith4027 I really don't understand where this myth of Putin not being trustworthy stems from. Apart from not invading-invading thing (which I will come to later) Putin ALWAYS warned about his priorities and intentions. You just never listened to him. One of the reasons why we like our president so much is that he doesn't lie. Take the situation with Ukraine for example: Putin insisted on Minsk treaty for 7 years. 7 years he tried to make it work as it is written in the document. Then last autumn he gave Ze last warning- follow Minsk or there will be consequenses. Ze didn't, here are consequenses. Then he also gave an ultimative to the West saying - back off or else. The west chose not to take it seriously- so here we are, protecting against dangers to our country. As for Ukraine, I am personally sure Putin wasn't going to do that. We all watched his speach on the 23 Feb and we all saw he was just furious. We have never seen our president like that before- he is usually relaxed and well controlled. This person never starts a fight unless he is sure he is ready- or feels threatened and sees no other way. I think I was second variant. He was angry cause realised he was forced to do something he wasn't ready for. There is info that Ukranians were preparing an attack on Donbass and Russian territores on the 25th. So he had to act, fast. Otherwise why so much of our money got stuck abroad? Putin would have prepared if he knew.

@mattsmith4027 your media has been painting Putin an evil tyran for years because they want to weaken Russia, it has become too influencial, and it's hard to do while Putin is the leader. Russia has been blamed for literary everything bad happening in the world, so we have a joke about Putin being almighty. Your media RETELLS you what he said- and usually not his actual words. I watch his speach for example- and then see a report about it on CNN or BBC or whatever news outlet, and I clearly see they are twisting his words. Either puting words in his mouth he never said or taking them out of context/ Skillfully (I have to give them that) manipulating the image, highliting only points which work for the effect needed. Like those words which everyone like to quote where he said that USSR falling apart was a huge tragedy. That's what western media uses- he wants USSR to be restored! But he then says... because a lot of Russians found themselves being abroad overnight. And that's a completely different thought

@mattsmith4027 as for little green people- Putin never said there were regular Russian troops in Donbas. I personally think it's not true, but otherwise has never been proven. In politics you can be only that honest when you deal with the west that constantly is trying to ruin you, arranging colour revolutions in every ex Soviet republic from Belarus to Kazakstan, surronding you with biolabs from Georgia to Kazahstan again, trying to get out of every agreement like chemo weapons that Russia destroyed and America still didnt. How can you play fair games with those people. And stories like Navalny where they try to rock the boat inside the country. Just leave us alone already

@pgpython Budabest memorandum was broken when US and Britain SPONSORED and organised a coup. Memorandum says that no intervention should be taken to change political system- but it was done. BY THE WEST. Which part of that isn't clear to you? We all saw Nuland giving out cookies there. US doesn't even really deny it/ And once again. Memorandum had NO LEGAL POWER. You don't seem to have a problem to expand NATO to the east although it was also promised. So what's the problem? You are not consistent
