People of Germany have always been really sensible. I have personal experience with Germans approaching me when I was travelling around their country just before pandemic and telling me how they find Putin and Russia great. How amazing it is that Russia stands up against America and protects traditional values. They even told me they would take Putin if we don't need him any more)). I was surprised REALLY. Minsk treaty was bettween Ukraine and the republics, with Russia, France and Germany being warrants of that. Putin held his part while the west didn't. As usual. Budapest memorandum has never beeb ratified by any side and has zero legal power. Plus when the west violated it by sponsoring the coup in Ukraine in 2014, the memorandum lost as little sence as it still had. Why would Russia keep an agreement that nobody cares to follow? Same with the promise not to expand NATO- westen promises and even signed agreements as with Minsk, have NO POINT. You never keep them

You can believe there were green men or not, but it doesn't change the outcome- in the ideas of international law Ukraine had inner conflict, civil war. If Russia wasn't a part of the conflict, it couldn;t be a part of the deal. Russia was a warrantor that Minsk really happens, along with France and Germany. They had to quarantee Kiev does what it promises and Russia had to do the same for republics. You don't remember Macron flying numerous times to Kiev and pleading Ze to finally go along?

If we had so many years of just stabile developement, I think we would be doing better that you. Second, you forget that America emposed dollar dictatorship on the whole world. Basically that good life that you have, you lead on borrowed money not supported by anything. The one of Russia is just 437 million btw. Apart from not invading-invading thing (which I will come to later) Putin ALWAYS warned about his priorities and intentions. You just never listened to him. One of the reasons why we like our president so much is that he doesn't lie. Take the situation with Ukraine for example: Putin insisted on Minsk treaty for 7 years. 7 years he tried to make it work as it is written in the document. Then last autumn he gave Ze last warning- follow Minsk or there will be consequenses. Ze didn't, here are consequenses. Then he also gave an ultimative to the West saying - back off or else. The west chose not to take it seriously- so here we are, protecting against dangers to our country. As for Ukraine, I am personally sure Putin wasn't going to do that. We all watched his speach on the 23 Feb and we all saw he was just furious. We have never seen our president like that before- he is usually relaxed and well controlled. This person never starts a fight unless he is sure he is ready- or feels threatened and sees no other way. I think I was second variant. He was angry cause realised he was forced to do something he wasn't ready for. There is info that Ukranians were preparing an attack on Donbass and Russian territores on the 25th. So he had to act, fast. Otherwise why so much of our money got stuck abroad? Putin would have prepared if he knew.

That was with many promises given to Russia and for some time we believed and tried hard to to follow all rules and regulations hoping to be recognised as an equal partner. About roads and factories. I see many news episodes are illustrated with videos from Russia that are 20-30 years old. Maybe you believe this is how Russia looks now? Sorry to disappoint but Moscow for example is a fantastic city now, clean beautiful and comfortable, very advanced where you can pay transport with your FACE and streets are washed with shampoo. I remember many years ago seeing it abroad and getting amazed- and now we have it in Russia while my last visit to Rome I saw rubbish everywhere and sht spread on the streets in the center. Urgggg. Of course Moscow is the capital, but it also being done in many other parts of Russia. Look at Kazan for example. We have good free hospitals, many new factories were built, and roads)), industries function well and due to sanctions- thanks- we learnt to be self reliable in many spheres. Ukraine was territory of atom hence nuclear power stations and strategic position in the west so the nukes could be aimed at US. After the fall of SU Ukraine had absolutely no financial ability to maintain those plus Russia as successor of USSR had full right for those. Ukraine kept a lot of legacy of Soviet Union, but nukes, aimed at the west, had to go. Your believe that you aren't manipulated into thinking what the goverment needs you to think is amusing.
