Let them fix it themselves. They are perfectly capable of looking around, realizing what they’re doing isn’t working, and changing course. If Not, let them suffer. At a certain point, people will vote differently. I don’t know when that is, but it will happen when it’s bad enough. Remember, life’s hard, and harder if you’re stupid.

If you vote for it, proclaim it, and ask for it, you should get no money for it.
139
Anti cops mad that no cops stopped CHOP from happening. 🤡
105
Let me know how the owner voted and what positions she supports, and I’ll let you know if I care.
73
I don’t know whether to feel bad for this guy or not. Tell me how you voted, and I’ll tell you how I feel. That’s where I’m at with these stories.
54
Stores keep closing, they keep voting the same. Life’s hard, harder if you’re stupid.

Fun facts about Coronado. That’s where a large portion of pilots and west coast seal teams are stationed. I believe it’s where more retired admirals live then anywhere else. It’s a very law and order place. I loved being there for a few years. If it wasn’t under the foot of the state of California, I’d move there in a heart beat.
22
😂 Newsom took out ads in Florida. Desantis goes to SF, and says take a look. What a flex.
21
Who knew a future drug and prostitution den would cost so much.
19
I loved Los Angeles for its food, coffee, the ocean, and weather. Conservative, ended up there in the military. Wanted to stay there until they just allowed complete lawlessness after 2020. The weather won’t save you, especially with conservatives that hit a breaking point and move.
17
When you only have seconds, help is minu…, well, it’s gone. 🤡

All the owners of properties have to do is lower the cost. Then they will allow other businesses the opportunity without that same capital as larger companies to move in. They don’t want to do that though. They don’t understand there has been a fundamental shift. They deserve it too. The majority of these places are owned by very liberal people that wanted the lockdowns. As Thomas Sowell would point out, you got what you wanted, and a lot of other unintended consequences in the long run. You enjoy those now.
11
@poodlescone9700 that’s fine, then they can suffer. But everyone has a breaking point. I’m not sure where it is but they will hit. It took crime getting really bad in the 80’s that brought us the 94 crime bill. around that time, a young man in Compton had the same likelihood of dying as service member in Iraq during the height of the conflict. At that time, they had hit the breaking point. I don’t know what it will take to reach that point again, but eventually they will. All the blame in the world won’t stop the issue, it’ll be the breaking point. Let them blame, let them suffer.
11
This is good. He needs to close down and move his business. This is all caveated that he votes for freedom. If he doesn’t, he should stay there and enjoy utopia.
11
“Anything is one the table”. Is it really? Steps for you: 1) no using drugs in public 2) no living on the street 3) criminals are arrested, locked up, repeat not allowed bail, and they spend time in jail. 4) put property rights first and foremost. 5) set tax rates lower, as low as possible. 6) sit back, do nothing, and look like a genius as the businesses flood in to one of the most desirable places on the planet that also offers a competitive business environment, and that is safe for individuals. I’ll be here all day if breed needs my help. Anything else is just the cat on the keyboard meme

As the dominoes continue to fall, I’m enjoying. I relocated my business as well. It survived the riots because I defended it. But because people said it was considered reparations, and peaceful protests, I relocated and reopened. I understood I had nothing in common with the people around me at that point.
10
Yes, remote work has fundamentally had an effect on urban areas. Also Any city that has a lunatic DA, and doesn’t defend property rights is killing their city. People who want or need to do business face to face would move into those vacancies if law and order is upheld. I don’t have the specifics, but the Nashville area has been growing. They do have liberals running Nashville, but they are kept in check to a degree by the state. They should come down harder for better results. They definitely need to drop the hammer in Memphis.
10
They should move. I had a business in LA, and moved. Best decision I could have made. Sometimes you just have to let it go. Riots, crime, homeless encampments, and high taxes aren’t worth the weather.
9
Of course you don’t want to push your slower friend down. Bears have a prey drive. You want to make sure your friend keeps running, and that you’re in front of them. Otherwise you risk the bear running past your friend on the ground and getting you.
8
@brianjohnson5272 exactly, let them go.
7
@peterbelanger4094 even then, just join that movement to have your county pull out of the state and join Idaho, or move. I moved from California.
6
It’s the peoples fault, they voted these people in.
6
So delicious to watch this play out.
5
Pouring oil is terrible for the environment. Better solution, Just get some bear spray. Give em’ one warning, if they don’t listen, teach them not to come back. Carry a firearm, legal in Tennessee. If they flex, we’ll, it’ll be the last time they will.
5
Paradise indeed
5
Enjoying watching all the businesses close and seeing the crime rate surge.
4
They could just cut out the middleman, and give the drug dealers an extra $1000 dollars a month.
4
If they want a large homeless shelter, there should be a referendum to put it in the highest earning zip code. Then we can see who really feels strongly about helping the downtrodden.
4
Until they start attacking and stealing from the vehicles. There is no end to this besides punishing criminals.
3
Detroit in many ways was self made too. They being to levy heavy taxes. They further put in zoning laws that segmented the areas leading to breakdown of community. Competition from Japan is the story liberals like to tell. If you have the time, look up some documentary’s on it. It’s interesting.
3
Starting to feel like I’m at minor league ball game, because all I keep hearing is another one bites the dust.
2
@rockstarofredondo o, they vote for that in Portland.
2
Got out of LA in august 2022. Owned a business. Moved and I’m reopening now. So glad I moved. If you vote red, leave. There is nothing for you in those places.
2
Kind of a clearance sale everyday at target, which is why it’s closing
2
You gotta love that they were super duper Uber worried about Covid, which has a well under 1% death rate, but this drug, which when some people merely inhale a whiff of it, it causes an overdose is seen as not harmful at all. I’d like to see her ride those buses with no fear of lung damage the way I’d like to see officials drink the safe water from east Palestine.
2
@honklerton732 they are decriminalized becuase they don’t prosecute the crimes. You are talking about legalized drugs. That’s two different things.
2
It’s ok, their overlord Winnie the Pooh already visited, they move them and let the criminals and drug addicts go back to business as usual.
2
@markusgorelli5278 that’s a problem they have to figure out. They have to deal in reality though, and some money is better then no money. Losses routinely happen like that. Also, banks are going to work with you. What’s the other option? They would have to take the property and do it themselves. In this environment, I don’t think any of them want the problem. I bet the bank that owns the mall in SF wishes the tenet had just wanted to restructure the loan. They don’t want to be in charge of leasing that. They know the city is shambles. I just think it’s more the property owners trying to hold the line. It’s like they think they can wait it out and people will be willing to pay more. This is 2008 for commercial, you won’t be getting what you thought. You better get to adjusting and getting something. There only other option is to lobby politicians for something or try to coerice employers to put people back in person. Our side of that, the party is over. Better to adjust and become the new front runner on a changing landscape.
1
Assholes. I moved from LA to escape libs.

Hotels should start advertising antifa get always. Do you have blue hair? Do you live in your parents basement? Are you a convicted criminal? Tired of having no place to freely express your lawless lifestyle? Wait not more… Tired of rules and regulations, Portland, get away from them all. Portland, where unbridled action is a way of life. Portland, where personal and accountability are two words that will never be used in the same sentence. Portland feel free to use all these in ads for your town. Hotels, don’t hold an antifa convention, they’ll get squrially once they realize all the rooms aren’t the same price.
1
They’re also pushing a bill through in CA to outlaw engagement by security guards of shoplifters. They just don’t get it. That’s fine. Just stay living there, please. If you’re conservative, leave.
1
The courts aren’t holding up sweeps. The government in California breaks the law and court decisions all the time in regards to 2A. They don’t want to. If they did, they would do it and face courts again later. Like they did with Covid mandates, 2A, and rent freezes.
1
@chokeyou2 thanks for the correction
1
If you’re a conservative business owner, leave, they don’t want you.
1
You should be allowed to wear masks outside, it gets cold in Chicago in the winter. The answer is not punish people for clothing. It’s funny, if they would just lock up criminals, they wouldn’t have to dance around the issues with these nonsense laws. I think 10-15 year minimums for violent crimes would really cause reflections for people.
1
Leftists: - elect DAs not punish criminals, - neuter the police’s ability to go after criminals - restrict fire arm ownership, and ability of people to carry. - then have the absolute audacity to say bystander training is needed. Training for what? Call cops that won’t come to arrest someone the DA won’t prosecute. How will the bystander intervene? They don’t want citizens carrying. People aren’t obligated to put their lives on the line for you, especially when they can’t carry the tools needed. You lefty’s always give me a good laugh.
1
@thehippie3610 then what policies does he support? Who did he vote for when he was there? Who did he publicly support in his social circles? You can’t fix a problem until you admit there is one. I’m leaning towards he voted blue, because he didn’t bring up the real issues. But, I’ll refrain since I don’t know for sure. But I’ll also refrain from caring until I do know.
1
@rockstarofredondo lol. Of course elections are real. Not to say that cheating doesn’t happen, or the media didn’t put its thumb on the scale, but of course they are real. How did Trump get elected the first time if they weren’t real?

If you have people and businesses leaving with a combination of needing to pay for expensive programs, you have to shake people down for money.
