The Japanese actually have been criticized on immigration but they just have the correct answer, we don’t care what you think, we like japan being Japanese and not having high crime.

Multiculturalism is a bad thing. Assimilation means assuming the culture you immigrated into regardless of what you look like.

@ST-rj8iu exactly. If you want to come, assimilate and join the party. I would hate to live in Saudi Arabia or China and would complain about it if I moved. They should never let me move there.

@DW-op7ly I agree. I would also add that the problem is that the incentives are for them not to have children. I think Hungary has a policy that a nuclear family that has four kids is exempt from income tax after that. I might be slightly remembering wrong but it was something along those lines. Those are the policies needed in western countries. But then again, the west is taught to hate it’s country and walk into cultural suicide.

@absolutaveritas having kids is affordable. This is a myth. People just don’t want to have kids or form families. It doesn’t have to change. Automation and AI will change the need for an increasing supply of workers.
