  2. Happens quite a bit. Large companies will use their ability to purchase in bulk to leverage a huge discount. It’s the same principle of when you get a giant bag of chips for Costco. This isn’t rare at all if you look into companies. Only bad companies that won’t last long, or get bailed out will pay more, and of course the government itself. Most companies sales divisions have special sales staff that only deal with big fish candidates, and they specialize in smaller books of business, with high quality service, and large decreases in per unit costs, and other special benefits thrown on top.
