  1. Seconding what you said Sean. I could afford a car or Ubers but took the bus in LA. I did this because often during peak traffic in and out of Santa Monica to the la brea area. It was fast because of the bud lanes. I also had to go to and from often for work, and parking a car was more of a pain. Once they let the free for all happen on these, I stopped riding completely. I just paid for Ubers, and was fine with the cost, the bus was just conveniently cheap, and conveniently fast in traffic. But with the free for all, the smells, the smoking, the domestic abuse. I had too many altercations that almost got me in trouble. I’m ex military, and I knew ahead of time I didn’t want an issue like the marine on the subway.
