  6. Tony likes to tell his stepfathers WW2 story a little differently from how his stepfather told it. Tony switches out the reality of his stepfathers Russian rescuers at Stalingrad, for a sweet little yarn about a black American G.I. popping his head out of a tank & whisking young Samuel off to democracy. Easy mistake to make we suppose. Funny how that sort of thing happens, quite a lot, over & over again.
