  1. On September 4th 2022, prominent German businessman, Karl Peter Griesemann’s private jet crashed into the Baltic Sea off the coast of Latvia, having flown halfway across Europe from Spain whilst unresponsive to ATC calls. Air traffic data showed that the Austrian registered jet departed from southern Spain on Sunday afternoon, changed course at Paris and Cologne and then flew straight out to the Baltic Sea, before descending rapidly into the ocean killing all on board. The Griesemann Group was responsible for the maintenance of the Nordstream gas lines.
