  1. Don't forget, it's not just bare hands, it's the RIGHT bare hand specifically in India. The left hand is for doing things like cleaning yourself or taking your shoes off, things you don't want also touching your food.

  2. I REFUSE to consume artificial sweeteners after chewing a ton of sugar free gum and having, what I would euphemistically call the trots. Sorbitol is a NASTY laxative. I cut out soda in favor of far less sweetened sweet tea and lost 10 pounds. I ONLY drink soda if I am out and going to a fast-food restaurant, and then I will not drink any cola of any brand. Lemon lime is usually what I get, or maybe root beer.
