They created the foundation to further understanding of gun and to educate people in proper ownership including proper gun safety. They understood guns were inherently dangerous items and needed to be treated as such, with care and responsibility or not at all. Parasites infested the organization and turned it from an enthusiast organization proper ownership and safety to an unpaid lobby group for gun manufacturers (that is, unpaid BY the gun manufacturers, they're paid by the idiots they terrify into buying guns). At this point, the organization is far too corrupt to be salvaged and needs doing away with.

  34. I'm upset at the video for a totally different reason. That food was not spoiled. They chucked it in a dumpster because they could write it off as a loss and still get paid. I'm actually amazed the dumpster wasn't lidded with a lock on it to keep people from taking it. It's criminal just how much perfectly good food supermarkets in the U.S. throw away. Don't we waste enough food as it is? I say good on these people for taking it back and using it!

  44. I am so glad I'm not a child today. I grew up in Oklahoma. OKLAHOMA! And we didn't have book bans when I was a kid. We didn't have revisionist history taught at my school. For crying out loud, my middle school, MIDDLE SCHOOL, brought in a survivor of Auschwitz and he brought in a mason jar with Zyklon B tablets. They weren't concerned about making me feel bad about history, they were concerned I LEARNED history! Now it's like opposite world in this state. Book bans, revisionist history, the whole nine yards.

  45. The major issue with the church and sexual abuse is that they see all sins, of which they count sexual impropriety as a sin be it rape or consensual infidelity, as being the same. Taking the lord's name in vain is the same as raping a child as they claim God would see it. It gives them permission to discount such activity as something they can ask God for forgiveness for instead of a mandate to protect their community from someone who would hurt them.
