  1. What makes anyone thing any football star would make a good leader? Leader on the gridiron? Sure. Leader in crafting legislation and protecting society? They played a game where their heads were regularly subjected to harsh punishment and frequent concussions. I wouldn't trust anyone to lead who's willing to get beat in the head for money.
