Nixon being pardoned was NOT good for this country. It led to the idea that presidents can't be held accountable when they do obviously criminal things. Yes, a pardon presupposes guilt, but not having been in any form of legal jeopardy means the pardon prevented justice. Would we have hurt as a nation dragging Nixon through the courts? Probably, but it would have restored integrity to the office he abused and Trump took to insurrection.
