If that mob of violent protestors had managed to get ahold of Mike Pence and do what they claimed they would, we'd be in a very different world. Do you think the impeachment trial would have gone the way it did if Republicans in congress were afraid for their lives if he stayed in power? Barring that, do you think the big lie would have as much traction if there was blood on their hands of the VP? I'm almost disappointed that mob didn't carry out their threat.
