  1. No law is going to stop this. This isn't a legal issue, it's a cultural issue. The Republicans ARE to blame for this, but toxifying our society, making violence part of their rhetoric, deifying guns as problem solvers instead of tools for sport and hunting. Guns aren't there to kill people except in VERY rare circumstances. We need them to start saying that, but they won't because fear drives up turnout for Republicans and so they sow fear, hate, and toxicity.
