  1. Media's job was never to present both sides and walk away. It's to break things down, try to gather as much useful information as possible and present only what is verifiably true. If you're "both sidesing" an issue, you're failing hard as a journalist. If you're only representing one side and ignoring the other or dismissing the other, you're a propagandist. Media is meant to be a bulwark against state lies and propaganda, not a delivery system for it.
