While I agree with you, we and the right are having totally different arguments. Our argument is over bodily autonomy and protecting actual life over potential life. Their argument is that it's a human being, a person that needs protecting over and above the women who are carrying them. There is no common ground. Their position is based in religion, ours is based in scientific fact. We can't have a functioning debate. We need to force the issue to be a secular right and allow the religious to simply opt out. But they don't see it that way. Another debate with no ground where they believe they have the right to push their religious agendas through the power of the state.
