  1. THIS is exactly why I say no ideology is true, only reality is true. Republicans have, for far too long, embraced ideology over reality. A good ideology is capable of changing when reality exposes flaws, a bad one desperately tries to force reality to fit it. Look at Marco Rubio lying about what the government does and then desperately beg his constituents to trust the government's weather information and evacuate. Embrace reality, adapt to it, use it to your advantage or be crushed by it.
