  1. God, they just love to glom onto the idea of toxic masculinity and just claim that's all feminism is, hating on men. Toxic masculinity isn't all masculinity is toxic. It's that there are a spectrum of typical masculine behavior and some of it is toxic. Some of that toxic behavior isn't even about harming others. Ignoring one's own pain because "I'm tough" is toxic masculinity. They probably should do a better job explaining ideals of positive or nurturing masculinity, but you don't fix what's working well, you fix what's broken, what's toxic.
