  1. Not only did Jesus demand his followers be kind and helpful to people in need, he also demanded an end to greed and to keep one's prayers private. In that respect, the GOP that take more than they need, kick down at the needy, and pray embarrassingly publicly. In other words, they aren't followers of Christ, so they aren't Christian regardless of the labels they give themselves.

  2. If there's one thing I can't stand it's a cut-and-paste Christian. Someone who quotes the Bible out of context. I usually defuse them by demanding the previous and following passages and to put the passage they quoted into context. Nice to see someone actually do that here. Words mean nothing without context.
