Here in Oklahoma, we had a ballot measure a few years ago that was about prison reform. It passed overwhelmingly, and this is one of the most conservative states in the nation, meaning it was conservatives that passed this prison reform bill. The language our state legislature used to say they were overturning the will of the people is frighteningly similar to what Ohio Republicans used to say they were going to overturn the will of the people there. Beware, my state carried out its threat and overturned the prison reform our people voted for. Stay vigilant my Ohio friends.
