  1. I am so glad I'm not a child today. I grew up in Oklahoma. OKLAHOMA! And we didn't have book bans when I was a kid. We didn't have revisionist history taught at my school. For crying out loud, my middle school, MIDDLE SCHOOL, brought in a survivor of Auschwitz and he brought in a mason jar with Zyklon B tablets. They weren't concerned about making me feel bad about history, they were concerned I LEARNED history! Now it's like opposite world in this state. Book bans, revisionist history, the whole nine yards.
