If they're trying to court the Fox crowd, becoming Fox Lite isn't going to work. They either have to become worse than Fox to get their audience or be at least just as bad. Thing is, the Fox audience is loyal to their ideology and CNN will never be able to make that transition. The only thing they're going to do is destroy a good chunk of their audience and lose money. No ideology is true, and if you're trying to build a network around one over what is working and profitable now, your ideology is going to destroy you.
