  1. He's politically clever though. The worst consequences of his actions will be after he's left the governorship, and it endears himself to the Republican party. It might give him a leg up in politics. It's disgusting this is how the fascist, I mean Republican party works.

  2. The function of business is antithetical the function of government. Business (the way it's currently run) is to extract the maximum amount of money, it's about exploitation. Government is meant to protect the largest number of people. If anything, business needs to be run like a government where they serve the needs of their customers and employees first. Long term stability is preferable to short term gains.
