  1. The Bible defense... Lest we forget, the Bible has a section LITERALLY telling priests how to perform an abortion! Numbers 5: 11-31, the ordeal of the bitter water. The idea is, if the wife of a man was suspected to have gotten pregnant by being unfaithful, she would drink this bitter water. If she were unfaithful, she would miscarry. The Bible is used by religious zealots to argue both sides of any issue which means it defends neither.
