  1. Our founding fathers couldn't foresee a civil war over slavery or women being allowed to vote. I sincerely doubt they'd have worded the second amendment as they did if they knew one man could murder dozens of people in a single minute when it would have taken a platoon of men armed with single-shot muskets to achieve the same results in their time.
