  1. I have a friend who is a Never-Trumper Republican and I asked him why we're sending arms and munitions to Ukraine. Without missing a beat, he said, "so we don't have to fight them (Russia) here." While I doubt that he believed Russia would invade the U.S., his point still stands. We're sending Ukraine our arms and munitions so THEY fight Russia and we won't have to send our soldiers to do it.
