  1. These people think of Spartans and Romans when they think of the military, where it's masculinity and cruelty that makes an efficient military. We aren't in the bronze or even the iron age anymore. We aren't killing each other with swords and bows anymore. We fight with guns and planes, and women can handle both. Gay people can kill just as easily as a straight person, and a trans person can fly a jet just as well as a cisgender person.
