  1. The market system works well for buying a car, buying a suit, buying a television. What it doesn't and can't work for is life and death issues. Health, policing, firefighting, public infrastructure, and absolutely medicine. These things cannot ever be for profit. Greed destroys everything.

  2.  @Auguur  We're really past a market system though, aren't we? How many car manufacturers are there now? When my grandfather was young, there were something like five times as many. Greed is one problem, consolidation of the market is another and both together is fucking everyone.
