  1. This us a double edged sword. Freedom of speech is important, obviously. However, allowing the government to come in and regulate how an internet group or company does business will backfire something awful. It'll open the door to whatever group is in power to regulate well more than speech on the internet, and we'll quickly find ourselves without an open and free communication platform anywhere. Plus, how can the US government regulate multi-national corporations? I'm sure a lot of them are in the US, but there are also a lot of them outside the US, and we'd never be able to enforce our laws onto corporations in other nations without banning them, further limiting speech.
