What Christians don't seem to understand is that the Sun doesn't rise and fall on Jesus Christ.  Hell, it doesn't even rise and fall on Earth.  Earth orbits the Sun and our rotation causes the illusion of a sun rising and falling.  It's true now and it was true when the Bible was written.  People who are offended by science are fools, so let them slobber and growl.  Their barks are worse than their bites.
