While I agree with your premise, your logic is flawed. Imagine if I told you dragons are going to cause 43 trillion dollars worth of damage in the next century. You'd call me an idiot. Any logic I would throw out attempting to prove my point would be rejected out of hand (rightfully so, of course), and you'd go on living your life as if dragons don't exist. That's the way the conservatives see climate change. They see it as a made-up threat demanding an end to their comfortable lives for absolutely nothing. MAYBE they'll start listening when it's FAR to late, but until then, we need to drag them, KICKING AND SCREAMING, into the correct way of thinking and acting. Because, when it does become too late, there are going to be a lot of unnecessary deaths.
