  1. "There will never be a third party president." ...Until there is one. Just because it hasn't happened in the past doesn't mean it won't happen in the future. The parties, as they exist now, are getting further and further away from the people, but not far enough that their base won't prop them up. Eventually, we'll hit the right mixture where a third party candidate will seem like the best alternative.
