  1. Workers and consumers are the engine that runs the economy. Putting more money in their hands is like adding fuel to the engine. Why do we keep having this ridiculous arguments that putting all the fuel at the rear car of the train and expecting the engine to run worth a damn carting a single lump of coal from one end to the other? We've artificially slowed down our economy. Oh, sure, the wealthy are wealthier than ever, but the workers and consumers have stagnated for too long and our economy will eventually come to a screeching halt.
