  1. Even if we assume that putting water in a vacuum would make it evaporate faster, this drier wouldn't be more energy efficient, because you'd first have to spend the energy to create the vacuum. It'd be, at best, shifting the energy consumption saved at the drying end and move it to the creation of a vacuum.
