  1. We don't need more people on the supreme court, we need a total overhaul of the system. A better system would actually need more people, but not all on the same court at the same time. Have a larger pool of justices and a random selection of, say, 7 of them hear any one case at a time. The rest sit out, wait for the next case. It would prevent partisan packing, it would prevent undue influence, and it would mitigate conflicts of interest. Plus, it would stymie efforts to roll back health care and abortion rights.
