  1. While I largely agree with the points here, saying our nation only needs 4 stories is largely ridiculous. There are thousands of stories, not narratives that easily fit into four neat boxes. Hell, most of the stories told here had to be forced in with a shoehorn and a sledgehammer. Narratives are the problem. Countering one set of false narratives with a largely benevolent but still misleading set of narratives won't fix shit. It'll just kick the problems down the road a bit.
