  1. We have an unfortunate skill to try to put the world into little boxes. Sometimes it's useful, like classifying animals or creating systems that are generally functional, but then we take things way too far. We keep trying to define one another, and, like you say, it'll take a dozen or more different terms which takes time and people tend to think in binary terms. Right or left, capitalist or socialist, authoritarian or libertarian. Understanding definitions is important, and labeling things for ease of understanding has its use, but so does breaking away from labels and trying to tackle problems from multiple angles.
