  1. This is essentially the same argument people have against unions too. My buddy was part of a union shop, but didn't like paying his dues because, "well, I didn't see MY wages go up." That's because he was hired at a union shop, his wages were already higher when he started. These people think these diseases aren't bad, therefore they don't need vaccines. The diseases aren't bad BECAUSE of vaccination.
